Life...

Hey, So it's been a while since I last posted... About two months... Weird... I really cant remember everything that happened so Ill just restart from the beginning of this year.. Ha

Right now im starting to save up for Thailand. We leave June 17th and return June 27th. Im really excited and feel proud and honored to feel as if i'm called to this trip.. After having a rough 2005, Im glad that everything is going right in my life and everything has been going smooth with my relationship with Jesus. We are going to the Cities this weekend to meet the rest of our team and attend a district Training Day... So im both excited and nervous about meeting the rest of the guys and everyone else!

Some of the negative things that have happened in my life is that after getting a new job at Papa Murphy's, I only lasted about two weeks.. I was foolish and made a mistake and gave someone a salad for free. I know that it was wrong and I shouldn't have done it. And for that, I was fired. So right now i'm trying to get back on my feet and get another job. And boy have I learned my lesson! haha.. My friend Kyle(works at Caribou Coffee) said that the Hiring manager was going to call me today and set up an interview but sadly... so far no call....

With payments for Thailand coming up and me being jobless and also the prep for the S.A.T's and school and the new responsibilities I have at the church my stress level is a bit high... But right now im trusting in the Lord and know that everything will work out... He has a mysterious way of having everything come together in the end. And I know that He will come and save the day.. Just like he always does!! :-)

--Please pray for the Thailand trip and that everything goes well with the team and that the funds for the trip will appear and that he will bless us!

My Weekend and Today!!!

Hey guys, Just thought I would post and tell ya about my weekend... Lets start with Thursday! Well thursday was the opening of the play, so thats what I did.. Afterwards, a whole bunch of us went to McDonalds and just hung out there.. That was fun

Friday We once again had the play so thats wat I did, After that a whole bunch of us again went out to eat, but this time we went to Rudi's.. During this I received a phone call from my cousin.. Telling me that I needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible, so as fast as I could I got to the hospital and found my aunt in the Emergency for personal reasons. So I spent the entire night there by her side.. It was incredibly sad..

Saturday I willed myself up knowing that it was going to be a hectic day! We had the play at 2 and RIGHT after that I headed home to quickly get ready for Sadies. As soon as I got ready my date showed up.. She was INCREDIBLY pretty! I was seriously honored to accompany her.. I wore black shoes, black pants, a black dress shirt, a Black vest, a black overcoat, and a GOLD tie... Also with one of those cool mob hats.. I got ALOT of compliments about how I looked.. I looked Sharp I guess haha.. It was cool haha... Ill show yall pictures as soon as I can.. Anyways, then We went to dinner at Zimmys and headed to the dance.. I felt REALLY akward being back in the Chisholm School and at first I wish I wasn't there but soon people started talking to me and then I had a blast!! Haha it was great! After the dance Me and my date, and a whole bunch of people went to emilys cabin thing and hung out listened to music and played games til like 5am then I went home..

Sunday I REALLY wanted to go to church but I just couldn't wake up!! So I didnt get up til about 11:50, and I was suppose to be at the school for the play.. So I raced there and got everything ready.. But before the play a girl(Its a secret for now!! shhh) approached me and asked me to the Spring JD so that was really cool... Anyways the play went splendid and after we had pizza and tore down the set, after that alot of us went to Tony's house and watched Family Guy and hung out Lol it was alot of fun..

Yesterday I went to school which was boring then at Lunch something awesome happened!! Lets just say I wont be alone for Prom!!!! :D Yep! Chris Pope has a date! Im excited! (Once again... its a secret!! shhh) but yeah, that night we had the Evening of Excellence... Which went... Okay haha then me, Brittany, Requel, Brooke R., and Garrit went to McDonalds and hung out there and then I went home!

And finally... TODAY!!!! Haha... school was boring as usual but what happened after school is what I want to talk about.. As most of you know.. I was going to quit hardee's becuz of the working conditions and was gonna go back to McDonalds, except in Hibbing.. Well they told me I pretty much had it so I made the mistake of quitting.. Haha... Well then I find out that they called Chisholm McDonalds(And most of you know what happened there...) And The store manager there told them things that we lies and they decided that I wasnt gonna get the job.. But after telling them my side of the storie they are gonna look into it and let me know Friday.. But most like I will not be getting the Job.. which is REALLY sad... Becuz now I dont have a JOB!!!! :'(

I also SO bought War of the Worlds!!! That movie rocks my face off!!! Im so happy I got it! Haha

Hey guys.. Wow it has been a LONG time since I posted... Well as much of you know I have kinda switched over to MySpace... But I've been thinking and watching my counter thing on my Blogspot one and saw that people still come to this one!! (I feel so loved..) So I can't let my wonderful readers down now can I!?!?! So yeah.. I'll try to manage both of em.. Shouldn't be to hard...... Right??

But anyways.. Sorry about the wait.. My life has been pretty exciting since the last time that I posted.. Lets see... Most people talked about MYC so you got the main jist of what it was like.. It was very awesome in my opinion... A real good spiritual time.. I loved it!!

Umm... Well... My grades have been pretty good also.. Think ill have about a 3.2 gpa which is really good in my books.. haha

and the play is about to open next week! So we are literally in the home stretch and you can start to tell by the look and feel of the entire auditorium with all the actors/actresses and even the director...The play begins Thursday 17th and runs to through the 20th! 17th and 18th - 7pm and the 19th and 20th - 2pm

and yeah....

I really can't remember much about what else is going on with my life except the anticipication of DECEMBER!!

One more month to go!!!!

I love december with all my heart.. Its honestly the best month of the year... Why, you ask?!

Becuz everyone is so happy cause of the holiday season and it just seems like everything is so pure and wonderful.. From the bright christmas lights of every house that you drive by to the wonderful white powder snow that has blanketed the Iron Range, and dont forget the hustle and bustle of life during the season. Everyone is just so busy with Christmas shopping and decorating and baking and everything, but it doesnt stop people from their families and it just seems like the best time ever.. Its also a time of family, and thats what I love the most about December.. Because my brothers come home and the entire family puts on christmas music and put up the tree and decorate and it seems like the smell of my mothers cooking is ALWAYS filling the air during the entire month.. Then Christmas comes along and my brothers are back up and everyone is together and its a time where everything seems so peaceful and everything is the way it should be..
Then a couple of days later a new year comes and eveyrthing starts over and its a time of new resolutions and a time of change..

Thats why I think December is the best ever.. Hope that the whole summary made sense to you.

But anyways.. I should get going.. Hope to talk to most of you soon...

Long Week!!

Hey guys.. Sorry that it has taken so long for me to post again! It has been a long week haha.. Well with School, and the play, and the PSAT's and all the homework going on its just been a little bit hectic! But I see that people still visit my site! Which is awesome!!! But never comment!! :-( Lol so yall should comment!! :D haha

Anyways... Lets see... I really can't remember all the stuff that happened last week except getting hit by Mrs. Collins and taking a REALLY hard PSAT!!... Lol

Lol The thing with mrs. collins was this, I missed her class on Thursday because I went to the college day and after school she was passing me but stopped and pulled me aside and this is what was said (What she said will be in italics k!?)

POPE! eh why werent you in my class today young man!!?!??

Sorry, I was at the College Fair..

The college fair?! why pope.... *Becomes distracted* Gosh pope, why are you so white?!

(Now, the lighting int his stairwell/hallway was very bad and everyone looked pale as a ghost, and most would correct her, I thought I would toy with her mind... lol big mistake)

Becuz im albino Mrs. Collins!

*mouth drops* Oh!!! oh, oh, oh... im...

Just kidding Mrs. collins *I smile*

I learned one thing from this incident... Mrs. Collins can PUNCH!

Anyways... Moving on.. The PSAT's were REALLY REALLY hard in my opinion! I really hope I did alright! It was a really long test also. It was 3 hours long!! It stunk!! Lol oh well.. I'll know how I did by Christmas!! Ill let ya know!!

Anyways this weekend was a VERY long one! Saturday I worked from 7am til midnight!!! It was a 17 hour shift!!! IT WAS LONG!! Lol and I finally got home and wasnted to get up for church but I slept through my alarm and overslept! :-( And then I worked again at 4 til 11:30..

Thats about it for my weekend... But yeah... Talk to yall later!!

The Best Night EVER!!!! :-)

Hey guys!! Boy has it been an interesting and fun-packed weekend!!! =) Here we go!!

-Friday we left about 4 o clock. We arrived at NCU around 7 (We got there BEFORE Amber Shain! Lol) and when Amber arrived we headed to Club Three Degrees, We decided that we would take the light rail so we headed to the metrodome and all got tickets for it and when it arrived we were on our way! I was starting to get REALLY excited!! Finally, We made it to the club!! And so the fun began!!
When we finally got the wrist bands and headed inside(It was FREEZING OUT!!) we right away noticed that it was PACKED! So we headed up onto the balcony to see if we could find anywhere to stand.. After finding out that we wouldnt be able to see much I started asking if anyone wanted to down into the pit with me. No one wanted to becuz of moshing, til finally Kranny said he would go with me!! I was pumped!! Working our way into the pit we got sorta in when 4th Ave Jones finished playing and The Dizmas began to play- After The dizmas we were finally in the pit and it started to get REALLY crowded.. When hawk nelson finally got on stage I wasn't able to move lol. They were AWESOME!!! =) During the song, "Letters to the President", Me and some random kid started hand-banging together and screaming the lyrics at each other! It was crazy!! After Hawk Nelson was done some people started to leave which was awesome becuz then me and Kranny made our way to about the center of the entire pit and about 20-30 ft from the stage!!! And so the strobe lights began to go off which looked REALLY sweet and slowly TFK made there way onto the stage, and so the craziness began!!! People were moshing and jumping up and down and everything! It was so much fun!! After playing the last song they exited off stage and everyone started chanting "ONE MORE SONG! TFK! ONE MORE SONG! TFK..." And finally they got onto stage and played a few more songs... The last song they played was "This is a Call" with JUST a guitar and him. At the end, he sang the chorus, "And we're calling out to you, This is a call, this is call....." Etc. 3 times. The first time he had the guitar and him singing, the second time no guitar and just him and the entire audience singing, and the last and final time he sang the first two words and then slowly and gently put down the microphone and walked off stage as the lights faded and only the audience sang til the end.. It was SO AWESOME!!!!! That was my first concert ever(technically) and I loved EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF IT!!!
Anyways! After the concert we went back to the light rail(Which we waited on it FOREVER!!! lol) and headed back to NCU, After that we went to denny's(Which was.... interesting) and then went back to NCU where I accidently fell asleep at Tom's Dorm room haha! Then the next day I watched the football games and went out for chapotlay? (I think I Murdered that word lol) and then headed back.. Then I worked the rest of the weekend!! Haha

Oh, and I have another story actually-


On the way back from the cities this car kept passing us(You kno how traffic is... It was kinda like Leap Frog) and on the back of the car it said Saddle Up Seniors, and there were two girls in the car lol and I was EXTREMELY bored! So I asked brooke for her notebook and wrote my number in big black ink and wrote "Call or text me if you want.. i'm BORED!!! Lol well wouldnt you know they started laughing then took out their phone and started pressing the buttons... About two minutes later I received a message from a number i've never seen before, and it was THEM!!! LOL!!!! I was like SWEET and brooke laughed for about 5 min straight.. So anyways me and her started talking and she finally called me haha Her name is Leigh and she is 17 and a senior at Forest Lake High School.. And so we have been texting each other ALL weekend!! LOL! Its hilarious! Haha

But there ya go!! That's everything that happened in a nut shell! It was seriously the greatest night of my life!!! I wished it never ended!!! but jsut think next thursday we will be in Rochester Mayo for MYC 2005!!!!

Hey Guys!

What is up?! Nothing here just sittin here listening to Hawk Nelson and getting my outfit out for tomorrow night!! Tomorrow night I will be attending the Thousand Foot Krutch And Hawk Nelson concert at Club Three Degrees in Minneapolis!!!! and am I EXCITED!!! ITS GONNA BE OFF THE HOOK!!! Lol I will be taking pictures- ill post them as soon as possible!

Anyways! My day was alright I suppose-
During 1st hour we had a guest speaker and we all got donuts at the end of the hour was that was fun.
2nd hour we watched the news and listened to Mrs. Collins go off about Liberals... Again. (Sweet!! Lol)
3rd hour we had a sub for Koskovich and she let us talk the ENTIRE hour- so me and brittany(Gremes) Chilled and talked about alot of stuff. It was awesome.
4th hour we watched the ending to We Were Soldiers, which was extremely sad, and listened to this Song at the end during the credits. I really wanna see the whole movie now cuz it looked really really good..
Anywho at Lunch me brittany and Zimmer went to rudis for lunch- it was cold. And Packed. I saw everyone there haha. Darby and emily were playing basketball with fries and Flynn was scarfing down a Sub! It was fun!
After Lunch I had alg 2 and found out that I got a B on my test we had yesterday! (YESSSSS!!!) Then I had health. Which was pretty boring. Haha nothing really exciting happened....
After school I went to Play practice- The play is really moving along and will be REALLY funny!!! You should ALL go see it!!! It will be WELL WORTH the money!! =)
Then I came home and here I am!!! Should start doing homework.. But don't want to... Lol ...

Faith.

At the turn of the century it was illegal to teach the Darwin Theory or Evolution. Nowadays it has completely done a 180.. Instead now the idea of Evolution is accepted by our society. In the days that Church and State HAVE to be seperated, any disruption will start a nation-wide debate and controversy.

First lets start with the Definition of Faith.

Faith:
NOUN: Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.

As christians we have faith in the Lord and his holy word.

Recently me and my unsaved, atheist friend had a conversation on what exactly Faith is. He said this:

....says: Faith doesn't make sense.

..... says:That is the major fundamental piller in christianity.. faith

..... says:All questions come down to that

..... says:Faith in somthing that gives no sure proof he exists

..... says:All things that are supposed to give us faith are circumstancial

.... says:hence cannot provide good amount of faith

If we had proof. If we knew everything about the Lord and knew as much, there wouldn't be much point to faith now would there?

take a look at this bible verse..

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1)

After seeing this he came back to saying

that there must not be a God because when he prays for help He believes he got none. And that means there must not be a God.

But when we feel alone. When we think that no one is there for us and we just wish that our lives would just end, we start to pray. And we feel a sense of love, and comfort bestow us. That is the Lord. Showing Himself and watching over us.

Take a look at these verses:

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him" (1 John 5:14-15)

"We live by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7)

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24)

Faith is not hope. Faith is the means by which we receive those things we hope for. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. Faith can only operate in the realm of the invisible concerning those things we hope for and do not yet see. Faith cannot exist in the visible realm.

Biblical faith is an absolute requirement for answered prayer. This verse says,

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6)

Notice that one must believe that God exists and that he rewards

—answers prayer and helps—

those who ask.

So in closing,

guess what! Faith will endure to the end.

Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac to be born.

Caleb waited 40 years for his land.

Noah waited 120 years for his physical salvation.

guys, Faith does not look at the calendar, but to Christ.

Hope may last a few minutes or a few months.

But Faith will endure until it is replaced by the thing for which we are believing!!

Faith that fizzles out at the finish, had a flaw in it from the first. (D.L. Moody)
